Our current approach
Aura Global is designed to collect only the data needed to operate accounts, community voting, moderation, and abuse prevention. Browser geolocation is disabled. A location attached to a submitted video is selected by the user and public only at city and country level; personal coordinates are not collected or stored.
Before launch
We store account details, internal activity, security signals such as keyed IP hashes, and links to externally hosted videos. Official YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook embeds may contact those providers only when a video is near the viewport or the user asks to load it. Retention periods, age requirements, and data-subject request procedures require legal review before launch.
